A masterful feat of storytelling, Wes Anderson’s first stop motion film Fantastic Mr. Fox. It features an all star cast that would have you checking who voices who if the film wasn’t so compelling that you couldn’t look away for a second. George Clooney as Mr. Fox, Meryl Streep as Felicity Fox, Jason Schwartzman as Ash Fox, Bill Murray as Clive Badger, Willem Dafoe as Rat, and Owen Wilson as Coach Skip, just to name a few. The style is unmatched, using Wes Anderson’s usual absolutely beautiful visual aesthetics, matched with a new stop motion look to give the film a different, refreshing feel. The adaption from Roald Dahl’s novel of the same name is faithful and charming and the characterization is unmatched.
