Inferno

Overview

Inferno is the fifth album by the Scottish duo Boards of Canada, following on from their 2013 release Tomorrow's Harvest. It was announced with the track "Tape 05", which fans erroneously linked to the track "Father and Son", but the track was later revealed to correspond to "Deep Time". After this, the single "Introit/Prophecy at 1420 MHz" was released, to acclaim. In their review of the album, Uncut heavily praised it, saying it was: "a brilliant album that doubles down on Boards of Canada's core strengths and finds room to move their music forward".
