Mermaid Rhapsody Fujimoto loves bubbly and charismatic women but they have to scare him a little bit, or else it just doesn't work. the animation is cute but the real star of the show is the story itself: love love love and love! there's a little Denreze flavor that I personally think is amazing. this short screams "even if you hurt me, I still love you." I have a soft spot for everything music related so bonus point for that too Woke-Up-as-a-Girl Syndrome lmao Akira's nosebleed painting "sex" on the t-shirt had me dyinggg. the compositing makes up for the story, I think it's supposed to be fun and entertaining which was largely enhanced by the coloring and the effects (the video game one was great), not my favorite but definitely visually appealing Nayuta of the Prophecy I was so excited to watch this one because it's my favorite and Nayuta holds a special place in my heart. the animation is stunning, pretty magical swords, big brother protecting his creepy/cute little sister against the world... this is exactly what I love about Tatsuki Fujimoto's universe and I can't get enoughhhh omg Sisters Fujimoto really likes older sibling/younger sibling dynamics, we have that in common. having two younger siblings myself, I adore the way he approaches familial love. Sisters feels very much like a younger Look Back which is very dear to my heart <3 I look forward to seeing more adaptations of my goat, and I can't wait to see my dear Asa Mitaka animated!!!!
