Yi Yi

I'm so glad I gave three hours of my life to this movie, I enjoyed every single minute of it!! how can a movie capture the human experience so well? this felt like being inside a book, the way I could understand every character and their pain. beautifully written, each one of them had regrets, dreams, and a hole they tried to fill in their own way. my favorite character was Yang-Yang!! he embodies the childlike innocence that makes us adults underestimate children, but he's the only one not lying to himself, not having his past weighing him down and above all, he asks questions grown-ups wouldn't even think of. he made me love this movie really much<3
